Well-aerated and well-drained soil: The soil should have enough air pockets for the roots to breathe and allow excess water to escape.
Rich in nutrients: Adeniums need nutrients for healthy growth, and compost is an excellent source. However, avoid using too much in the mix to prevent overfeeding.

💧 Moisture-retentive and Non-retentive Components:

Moisture-retentive components: Coco peat, coco chips, vermicompost, cow dung compost, leaf compost, and topsoil. Use these components to retain some water in the mix.

Non-retentive components: Sand grit, river sand, stone chips, and coal. These components facilitate drainage.

📝 Aim for a soil mix with about 50-70% draining components and use compost sparingly, not exceeding 20-25% of the total mix.

Remember, the size of the particles used in the mix matters too. Adequate air circulation is essential for healthy plants, so avoid using excessively small particles.
