This video covers the second phase. Digging a further section of the new cut to full depth and width, and using the extracted material to raise the embankment over the low-lying ground to link up with the section of canal currently in water.

Erratum.

The caption at 06:20 is in the wrong place. It refers to the loose clay in the bottom of the cut at the low point of the small culvert, visible at 07:30, 12:03 and other places within the video.
