Here is an explanation of the comfort mat from my wife.
Hi Cathy, this is Anne.
I really like the comfort mat.
I like the cushioned edge. When I step on the edge by mistake, it doesn't feel as uncomfortable as stepping on the edge of the regular mat. My comfort mat is hooked to medium bungees, and that affects the feel. I sink deeper into the mat, that means I have to work harder to stabilize myself as I bounce more and higher. I like everything about the comfort mat except the weave is a bit more course. With bare feet I don't like the feel as much. Now, if I didn't have Brent's regular mat right next to mine to compare, I would probably never have noticed...
For a smaller rebounder, I would probably go with the comfort mat for a comfortable, total workout experience even if I don't overexert myself.
