In Rajasthan's arid Piplantri village, the unique tradition of planting 111 trees for every girl child faced water scarcity threatening saplings' survival. Following Padma Shri Shyam Sunder Paliwal's vision of celebrating daughters through trees, this eco-feminist reforestation needed reliable water. Astral Foundation provided 5,000 saplings and engineered a crucial 13,000-metre pipeline system.

This lifeline irrigates India's first eco-feminist forest, raising groundwater by 15 feet and cooling air by 3-4°C. Now Piplantri's symbolic forest flourishes, ensuring the hopes it represents empower daughters through community spirit and targeted support.
