[LEE2] Introducing RTEMS, a serious real-time OS

RTEMS is far away from the Linux project regarding source code (about 1M of lines, 90 % of C). It’s used by lots of organizations or companies such as ESA, NASA, Airbus or Thales. The most famous example of RTEMS project is currently the mars rover “curiosity” or more recently the Parker solar probe. During the conference we will introduce the RTEMS architecture, how to build a cross-compiler and set up a development environment and finally how to develop and debug some RTEMS applications (using POSIX or “classical” API).
