The Esker Riada (Eiscer Riada) is a glacial ridge used as an ancient east-west routeway across Ireland and is still in use in the present day. This film shows the correlation of the Esker Riada to ley lines spanning east-west across the British Isles.

The evidence suggests age-old direction and amplification of earth energy by round towers, monoliths, in conjunction with countless journeys by foot along the narrow ridge.

Furthermore, the highly accurate ancient alignments are shown to coincide with the Battle of Maigh Nuada in 123 A.D., on foot of which battle, the tribes of Cuinn and Mug Nuadat agreed to the division of the island into two exact geographical halves (Leath Cuinn agus Leath Moga), the division subsequently adopted at the Synod of Ráth Breasail in 1111 A.D. The boundary may predate Maigh Nua by several millenia, however, as it was likely used to divide older tribes, namely the Fir Bholg and Tuatha Dé Danann to the north with the Fomóraigh and Heidhbernigh to the south.
