This 20 minute yoga practice is designed to reduce lower back pain through creating length in the hamstrings and improve mobility around the pelvis. Use this yoga practice every day (or, realistically, three times per week) to reduce lower back pain by increasing the flexibility in your hamstrings.

For this 20 minute yoga practice, you will want to ensure you are facing a wall and/or have a chair at the top of your mat.

BKS Iyengar developed the yoga tools to help students "access the action" of the asana practice - it's not about doing the splits or handstand or touching your nose to your shin! Yoga is a life-long and life-sustaining practice that helps you to increase and maintain mobility in your body!
