New Forest National Park walks are always a bit different to my other Hampshire Walks due to the freedom of being able to roam , rather than sticking rigidly to paths. This one explores Lyndhurst, the home of the Verderers Court, the grave of Lewis Carroll's inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, a hotel designed by Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, a mystical tale of Knights and Dragons and the elusive source of the Beaulieu River.
Starts and finishes at The Swan Inn, Emery Down. 5 miles approx. Please join me for a New Forest adventure.
