There are how-to tutorials online that say disabling the hibernation function will automatically delete the hiberfil.sys file. Well I found that to be not true. I only tested the hibernation function and later disabled it, and I could not delete the file using Windows Explorer. So I did some research and found the right way to remove the file. You will have to launch a command prompt window as an administrator and then run the command in the video to get the job done.

By the way, some of you will be able to delete the hiberfil.sys file but it will keep coming back. Why does this happen? It's because you have hibernation function turned on.
