THE SMALLEST HOUSE IN BRITAIN: INSIDE LOOK & TOUR, CONWY, NORTH WALES, UK

I was brought to this gorgeous little house (which is like a giant doll's house) when I was a little girl and it inspired me so much that I never forgot it. And I was determined to show it to my children. So, on a recent visit to North Wales I made a point about visiting the medieval Welsh town of Conwy, which also has a castle and 13th century town walls which can be walked for free. And there, on Conwy's quay, is the smallest house in Great Britain. This video gives a detailed tour and inside look at the house and offers an insight into what on earth it would have been like to live somewhere as miniature as this - the last inhabitant was in 1900 and was a fisherman who, unbelievably, was very tall! He measured 6ft 3 - that's 1.9meters tall. I look at the downstairs and upstairs which are connected by a sort of step ladder and trap door - it's not a conventional house a you know it! A tight squeeze to say the least...and yet it manages to squeeze an unbelievable amount into a very tiny space.
