The Medical Superintendent of LNJP Hospital told ANI that 'Fifteen people have been brought to Lok Nayak Hospital. Eight of them died before reaching the hospital. Three are seriously injured.' The explosion, which occurred in a parked car, prompted a high alert across the national capital, with security being tightened at border points and other sensitive areas. Multiple vehicles were damaged in the incident, which occurred near Gate No. 1 of the metro station. Forensic and bomb disposal squads are at the scene to investigate the cause and nature of the explosion as authorities work to manage the chaotic aftermath.
