I've always praised application developers and smartphone OEMs that go out of their way to include extra layers of customization. No matter if it's customizing the function of an application (and smartphone) or just the visual elements including the color scheme or placement of options.

We carry so many parts of our lives in our smartphones that being able to customize the experience really goes a long way. Many people enjoy a minimalistic UI while others simply want the least amount of clutter.
