With the second season of the Fallout TV show coupled with the 15th anniversary of "Fallout New Vegas" what better time than now to take a look at the uniforms and gear of The New California Republic's Troopers which have quite a few elements pulled from the real world, some of which date back as early as World War I!

1st Recon Flash: check Etsy as there are a few options there

Helmet Cover: May have to get a bit creative with it if you choose to not use a cloth pith helmet, canvas or another thick material could work.

Helmet Band: Elastic is probably your best bet with a good option being a US surplus Coyote Cat Eye band.

Ammunition Boots: quite a few options scattered online through various outlets, best option would be to type in "WWI Ammo Boots" and compare quality and colors to see what's best.

Armor, Belt and Pouches: Artel Alekseeva's Instagram can be found here   / artelalekseeva   alternatively check websites like The RPF or even dedicated Facebook groups for NCR costumes

Mantle: can probably also use the same canvas (or whatever cloth you choose for the helmet cover) to make this.
