Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is throwing his support behind the new Tribal Warrant Fairness Act, a federal bill introduced by U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin aimed at strengthening law enforcement partnerships in tribal communities.

The legislation would allow the U.S. Marshals Service to assist tribal police, helping close critical gaps in investigations involving missing and murdered Indigenous people (MMIP) and violent fugitives.
