In this video, the discussion on why color blindness is more common in males. Colour blindness is an X-linked recessive disorder - so it's more common in males. For the females to be colour blind both the X chromosome have to be defective. Protanopia is red color blindness, deuteranopia is green color blindness and tritanopia is blue color blindness.
