Hiking video in Arizona by Elisa

Hi Guys,
Let’s go hiking!!
This place by far is the best view and the most difficult I’ve ever hiked here in Arizona. I can’t describe it with my words. I hope someday you can come here and we’ll go hiking together!! Just so happened I captured this flying bird, matching well with this masterpiece Golden Eagle 🦅 by Elisa Kafritsas.

I watch a golden eagle rise,
Using currents to his advantage
As one may soar upon the verse of a song,
Like a harmony played on guitar and piano,
Or a poem etched in ink.

I wish to fly upon his wings,
Travel his horizons,
Own his perspective, his courage,
Demand presence.

Long to have his freedom,
Rise above mountains,
Listen to their prehistoric murmurs,
Their majestic beauty empowering,
A reminder life is transient, short.

Here, lost in the vastness of nature,
Problems fade into insignificance.

Again my eyes search the sky,
But he is gone,
I am alone, but not lonely,
Face tilted towards the sun,
Yet fully aware of the shadows cast,
Slowly elongating with the persistence of time.

Absorbing this spectacular scenery,
Breathing it in with my lungs,
Tasting the dry Arizona the air,
Grounded, I find peace.
