WATCH LIVE: Marinda Steyn takes the stand in Krugersdorp murder trial

The State finished its cross-examination of Cecilia Steyn (37), the alleged mastermind behind the controversial Krugersdorp murders, in the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

The witness, allegedly a self-confessed witch, werewolf and vampire, and her co-accused are on trial for the murder of 11 people between 2012 and 2016.

She has been charged, along with Zak Valentine, 34, and Marcel Steyn, 21, with several counts, including murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, theft, fraud and intimidation.

On Tuesday, she denied any involvement in the murder. She also denied that she practised Satanism.

Marinda Steyn, who was sentenced to 11 life terms, which were ordered to run concurrently, and 115 years in jail, is currently on the stand.
