Professor at the University of Miami, USA, Prof. Ramaprasad’s research and teaching center on communication for global social and behavioral change (SBCC) and journalism studies. With fieldwork across Asia and Africa, she advocates for immersive, community-rooted approaches that critically assess power structures in both theory and practice. Her lecture draws from hands-on experience implementing projects in Vietnam, Uganda, and the United States, offering rich, real-world examples of decolonizing communication.
