Between catching up on work, two unexpected medical emergencies, celebrating a long distance birthday, and enjoying a relaxing dinner in the Celestial Dining Room, this sea day had a little bit of everything…
The ship’s crew handled both situations with absolute professionalism — a reminder of just how prepared these teams are, even in the middle of the Mediterranean. After dinner, we tried our luck in the casino — spoiler alert: the house stayed happy!
Tomorrow, we’re docking in Civitavecchia, Italy — the gateway to Rome! Cruise lines like to list it as Rome, but the real adventure starts with a train ride that takes about an hour and a half to reach the Eternal City. In Day 4, we’ll walk you through the entire process of getting there and take you along as we explore some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, incredible food, and timeless charm.
