The splendour of Mother Nature as she reclaims the long forgotten parts of Aperture where natural sunlight manages to seep into.
Plus it’s a well known fact that the hum of a thermal discouragement beam is very soothing to plant life, kind of like when you play classical music to bean sprouts.
