Thejana De Silva possesses a passion for teaching and a specialization in Jurisprudence & Legal Theory. As a tutor in Jurisprudence for the University of London LL.B programme, he brings a wealth of academic to the classroom.
He was amongst a select few worldwide who graduated with a First Class Honors LL.B from the University of London in 2022, and received the Certificate of Excellence from the University for being amongst the top 3 scorers worldwide for both Jurisprudence & Legal Theory, and Administrative Law. He also obtained distinctions in 6 out of the 9 subjects under the LLB programme, including Contract Law, Public Law, Admin Law, Company Law, Criminology, and Jurisprudence & Legal Theory. In addition, Thejana holds a BA (Honors) in International Business and Finance from the University of the West of Scotland and was one of the youngest CIMA Passed Finalists in Sri Lanka, finishing at the age of 19.

With a passion for Jurisprudence & Legal Theory, Thejana is dedicated to ensuring that his students receive a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. His extensive knowledge on the subject provides him with the expertise to guide students through the intricacies of the module. Thejana employs innovative teaching methods and techniques to engage students and promote learning, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages critical thinking and allows students to develop their own unique perspective on the law.

In addition to his academic achievements, Thejana possesses corporate experience within the field of Corporate Finance, having worked at KPMG Sri Lanka, and currently at John Keells Holdings PLC – which is the largest conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
