Hello everyone! We're reviewing the *Desert Warrior* at 10.0 BR, the upgraded version of the Warrior IFV in the British tree. While the standard Warrior is fun at 8.3, the Desert Warrior is stuck in an awkward position, desperately *NEEDS MORE OOMF* [00:00:06], and struggles to compete with its peers.

The Problem: Inferior Firepower
*Worse Than the Bradley:* The Desert Warrior's 25mm M242 autocannon is essentially the same as the US M3A3 Bradley's, but it receives the inferior *PMB 090 round* (92mm penetration) [00:04:15]. The Bradley gets the *M919 APFSDS* (over 100mm pen), meaning the British version struggles to damage certain tanks from the side, like the T-80UD [00:05:27].
*The Dead Lineup:* The BR decompression update moved the TTD and Challenger Mk. 2 up to 10.3, crippling the British 10.0 lineup and forcing the Desert Warrior to be uptiered where it only gets worse [00:01:22].

ATGM and Key Features
*ATGM Choices:* It uses the *TOW 2* missile system. The best anti-ERA option is the *TOW 2A* (unlocked at Rank 1) [00:06:40]. The Rank 4 *TOW 2B* is highly RNG and often requires two missiles to secure a kill [00:07:45].
*Key Mods:* It gets *Laser Rangefinders and Thermals* relatively early at Rank 2 [00:08:08], and comes with *stock smoke grenades* [00:08:34], which is a British perk that aids survivability.

Despite its limitations, we managed a *55% win rate* in 94 battles [00:10:24], but the vehicle needs a firepower buff to truly justify its battle rating and compete with vehicles like the Puma and 2S38.
