Ingredients:

. 250 gms tendli
(Ivy gourds)

. 1 sliced onion
(medium size)

. 1/2 tomato
(1 small size)

. 1 tbsp ginger garlic
paste

. 2 tbsp roasted peanut
powder

. 1 tbsp metkut
(or besan)

. mustard seeds

. cumin seeds

. red chilly powder
(as per taste)

. turmeric powder

. 1/2 tsp garam masala

. oil

.salt (as per taste)

. pinch of jggery powder
(optional)

. Chopped coriander
leaves

Method:

. Wash Ivy gourd or tendli
with water and wipe
it.

.Cut it in pieces

. Transfer chopped
tendli in thick flat pan,
add 1 - 2 tsp oil and
saute it on medium
flame till become soft.

. Heat 2 tbsp oil in
a pan.

. Add mustard and cumin
seed,allow to crackle it.

. Add sliced onion,ginger
garic paste and saute it
on medium flame till become
light brown.

. Turn flame low
add turmeric,red chilly powder,
garam masala and mix it.

. Add chopped tomato,roasted
peanut powder,and saute it.

. Add metkut powder and mix it.

. Add sauted tendli,salt
and mix it.

. Sprinkle little water
and cover lid and allow
to cook for 4 -5 minutes.

. Mean time turn1 - 2 times.

. Add pinch of jaggery and
again allow to cook for 1 minute.

. Switch of flame.

. Garnish with chopped
coriander leaves.

. Tendli subji or tondli chi bhaji
or ivy gourd subji is ready.
