There will probably never be another player like Eric Green.The behemoth tight end was listed at 6'5 and anywhere from 280-300 pounds. Easily the most physically imposing skill position player to ever play college or professional football.

Green had a physique that rivaled most offensive tackles of his era in pure size, and yet he possessed the athletic ability to line up as a fullback, slot receiver, or even to split out at wide receiver. He was the perfect bridge between the old school blocking style of tight end and the new breed of tight ends like Shannon Sharpe.

No matter the "character concerns" that might have plagued his pro career, Green was an undeniably good receiver and blocker who revolutionized the position. He was voted to the Pro Bowl twice in 1993 and 1994.
