OBSCURIST TOURIST 057 - Explore Toronto's abandoned half-mile bridge in this urban exploration video. Discover the history of this forgotten landmark and the stories it holds. I walked along an abandoned CPR railway for a few miles in search of Toronto's elusive Half-Mile Bridge. Hidden in plain site, it is not an easy structure to get to.

The old bridge is a high-level style deck plate girder bridge that carries a railway line over the valley of the Don River. Built in the 1920s, This bridge is a replacement for a bridge built in the 1880s. The bridge was deemed of no use by Canadian Pacific Rail and ultimately abandoned in 2007. Let's find out what it looks like today!
