Описание к видео #009

Hi, and welcome to episode 9, where I make a PAL PET 8032 work in Canada and the USA.

In this episode, I'm making a PAL PET 8032, which normally runs on 220V mains, work on North American 110V mains. Simple, right? Just connect the power to a step up transformer. It will work, but guess what happens? The video starts to wobble.

So what next? I'll show you how to swap out the editor ROM from a PAL version to a NTSC version. This works brilliantly. Wobble gone!

In the future, I may consider doing away with the step up transformer and swapping out the internal transformer on the power supply to one that works with 110V AC. Stay tuned for that one.

In my next episode, I continue to work on my C128 graphical game. I have some big plans for that episode, so stay tuned.

Thanks for watching!
John
