In the first episode of the Television Affair, Johnny takes a look at the early days of satellite and cable television in the UK, from the perspective of a kid who grew up on a diet of Sky channel, wrestling and macaroni cheese.

This video looks into what channels were around and how they were aired, along with some reviews and history on the channels. We'll be mainly focussed on the 1980s and early 1990s, and pan European channels available in the UK.
