Saint Karloff - Interstellar Voodoo Recording Session

This is a music video and documentary hybrid of our time recording our second album Interstellar Voodoo. It was recorded during easter 2019 and released in the autumn of the same year. People have reached out to us and asked us about the making and recording of Interstellar Voodoo, and with this video we try to answer these questions.

Hard-hitting power trio Saint Karloff have been making their mark on the international heavy music scene since the release of their debut album, All Heed the Black God, in 2018. Featuring Mads Melvold on guitar and vocals, Ole Sletner on bass, and Adam Suleiman on drums, this Norwegian band is influenced by the music of yesterday and the world of today. Rising to fourth place on the Doom Charts, generating two mind-bending music videos for ‘Ghost Smoker’ and ‘Spellburn’, and garnering praise from critics all around the world, All Heed the Black God, was inspired by 70’s heavy blues bands like Black Sabbath and early Pentagram, and allowed the band to fuse this vintage sound with modern day stoner rock to create something that was uniquely their own. Now in 2019, the band is raising their song writing to the next level with new material that is heavier, more psychedelic and more complex. As Ghost Cult Magazine recently pointed out, “When one ingredient looks set to steal the show, another comes to the fore with flawless timing, creating an organic flow which sounds wonderfully retro yet urgent. These guys can be huge.”
