SPIE Elbud Gdańsk – installation of the 400 kV power line Kozienice – Siedlce Ujrzanów

SPIE Elbud Gdańsk S.A. together with the consortium (ELFEKO S.A. and Eltel Networks Energetyka S.A.) completed the installation of a new double-circuit 400 kV line from Kozienice to Siedlce Ujrzanów.
The task was performed for Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.
The new line with a total length of 98 km will increase the security of energy transmission in the region, as well as improve the reliability of the entire National Energy System.
The detailed scope of work related to the installation of the line included:
- disassembly of the old 220 kV Kozienice-Siedlce line;
- making new foundations with poles structures;
- suspension of two tracks with cables AFL6-350mm2;
- installation of OPGW lightning conductors with ornithological marking.
