DREW ALLAR - Sophomore Highlights (2023)

Drew Allar had a fine season in State College as his first year as the starting Nittany Lion quarterback. Huge expectations were abound as he delivered a stellar performance to begin the season against West Virginia. As the season wore on fans saw that his canon hanging off of his right shoulder wasn't always complimented by his willingness to use it downfield. But when he did, it was a thing of beauty that rivals the best in the business. His touchdown to interception ratio (25-1) was phenomenal, tops in the country. And he gained a great deal of experience having played against some of the best teams in the nation.
