Flooded Basement Update! Insurance DENIED Claim of $20,000 DAMAGES!

Flooded basement update. We finally had the guy from the flood and disaster mitigation company come by today and told us that we will need to get rid of all of the carpet, sheetrock up to 2 feet, and insulation in order to dry it out. We talked to the insurance adjuster as well and were told that they were going to cover everything. We received a phone call a bit later that indicated there will be NO coverage from the insurance company.
