Český Krumlov is a small city in the Czech Republic. It's popular for its fine architecture and historic Český Krumlov Castle. This is an excellent place to spend a day and easily accessable from Prague. The castle and grounds are magnificent and free to wander around. There is a great view of the town and the river from up there. Don't forget to stop and see the bears at the gate. In the summer you can take a boat or a canoe along the river and there are plenty of picnic spots.
