The best special event made its return once more. (Gran Turismo 7 - Weekly Challenge)

We had this twice in Fuji and Suzuka so now its Autopolis' turn to have the best special event (aka All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship) take place on. For this set of weeklies, it's an 8 lapper around Autopolis featuring the JGTC grid. No tire wear and fuel consumption so you're free to go all out whether you just want to breeze through this event or play this event fairly as possible.

I've already won with the NSX GT500 '00 via the Fuji race and the Supra GT500 '97 via the Suzuka race so now its the Nissan GT-R GT500 '99's turn to shine. Just like what I did with the NSX GT500 '00 and Supra GT500 '97 I gave it a turbo upgrade but nerfed it to 498 HP plus for the tires I went for the standard Racing Hards.

Suffice to say this race was the hardest for me among the three JGTC special event races that took place due to the technical nature that Autopolis delivers. Also this race has shown that the makeshift GT500s are definitely screwed as they struggled to take those corners well and it affected my chances at getting a clean race bonus. I also ended up having a near close race finish with Yamanaka's DENSO Supra and had there been 1 or 2 more laps, Mizuno's McLaren F1 GTR Longtail would've caught up to us but still I was able to pull it off and win this race.
