“I came out to myself at 22. As a Christian, I struggled. That these feelings I had were wrong or at least that’s what the church says in some way. Like many people, I thought it was a phase and I can pray it away, but it didn’t go away.

It was later on in my experiences that I realised even though church might say one thing, that is not my experience of God.”
