Visitors can also find a mystical blocked tunnel here, believed to be the very path through which the Goddess emerged or was brought by Lord Hanuman.

A unique aspect of the temple is the tradition of keeping the main idol of Goddess Jogadya submerged in the sacred Kshirdighi pond for most of the year. The idol is brought out with great religious fervor on specific auspicious occasions, most notably during Baisakh Sankranti. Another ancient idol, discovered during the re-excavation of the Kshirdighi in 2011, is now enshrined in a newer red stone temple. A beautiful white marble temple, constructed in 2005, also graces the middle of the pond.

The temple complex further includes a Nat Mandir (hall for religious performances), Bhog Ghar (place for preparing food offerings), and Bhandar Ghar (storehouse). The revered Kshireshwara Shiva temple, representing the Bhairava (Kshirakhandaka) associated with the Shakti Peetha, is also an integral part of the pilgrimage.
