This unpublished Ralph Hermann piece was commissioned for Doc Severinsen, who performs it here with the Sapulpa, Oklahoma high school band. Doc actually was involved in the commission of many original works for trumpet and band. He did many guest artist concerts such as this, and performed with my high school band, which was an outstanding experience. This performance was in 1968 and is from a live concert. The recording was never released commercially. This is from a series of educational recordings from Silver Crest.
