Site: Ang Mo Kio [Under the MRT Tracks of the North South Lines]

The infrastructure conversion offers a seductive break from the parallel busy vehicular roads by creating a heart landers space with the elderly for aging gracefully through active lifestyle and interaction with family members. It is strategized with key components to attract users through multiple access points, including a diagonal space to draw connection from the housing estates into the public park to enjoy and explore the spaces with generous sun shading from the train track above.

The spaces are laid out to co-relate with the train tracks reflecting restraints for achieving clarity with pockets of spaces within the communal garden with activities for facilitating interaction between the old and young. Inspired by sustainability, the communal garden offer users to plant and harvest vegetation, encouraging learning and sharing knowledge for a sustainable environment. It is with hope, the subtly defined pocket of green spaces, transforms underutilized void into a park allowing the public to linger, bond and interact with one another.
