From 13th to 19th August 2017 the best pilots and builders of scale jet aircrafts from all over the world will meet each other at the Jämi Airfield, Jämijärvi, Finland. Presenting and flying their scale jet models of famous trainers and fighters they compete at the highest competition which to be held every two years, the international Jet World Masters.

Staattisessa arvostelussa verrataan mallilennokkia oikeaan dokumenttien avulla, lento-arvostelussa arvioidaan mallilennokin tai oikeammin sen lennättäjän kykyä jäljitellä esikuvansa lentoa. Yhteispisteet ratkaisevat, voittoon ei riitä pelkästään esikuvan mukaiseksi rakennettu kone, pitää myös osata lennättää, ja päinvastoin.

The original Me 262:
The Messerschmitt Me 262, nicknamed Schwalbe (German: "Swallow") in fighter versions, or Sturmvogel (German: "Storm Bird") in fighter-bomber versions, was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft. Design work started before World War II began, but problems with engines, metallurgy and top-level interference kept the aircraft from operational status with the Luftwaffe until mid-1944. The Me 262 was faster and more heavily armed than any Allied fighter, including the British jet-powered Gloster Meteor. One of the most advanced aviation designs in operational use during World War II, the Me 262's roles included light bomber, reconnaissance and experimental night fighter versions.

This Me 262:
Flyable reproduction Me 262 of first newly manufactured Me 262 A-1c (single-seat) variant (Werk Number 501244) was completed in August 2005. The first of these machines (Werk Number 501241) went to a private owner in the southwestern United States, while the second (Werk Number 501244) was delivered to the Messerschmitt Foundation at Manching, Germany. This aircraft conducted a private test flight in late April 2006, and made its public debut in May at the ILA 2006. The new Me 262 flew during the public flight demonstrations.
