Raid Machine Arjun Deshwal gets Jaipur Pink Panthers back to winning ways as they rout Puneri Paltan
Noida, November 25, 2024: In a statement of intent, the Jaipur Pink Panthers delivered a crushing 37-23 defeat over the defending champions Puneri Paltan in Match 75 of PKL 11 at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Monday. Once again, it was Arjun Deshwal who led the charge with his 16 points as they completed the double over the Puneri Paltan in season 11.

The first 10 minutes of the match were tightly contested as both teams experienced successful and unsuccessful raids, with Akash Shinde for the Puneri Paltan and Neeraj Narwal for the Jaipur Pink Panthers making notable contributions. The lead kept changing hands frequently, with the Puneri Paltan maintaining a slight edge, but the Jaipur Pink Panthers were hot on their heels.
The talisman for the Jaipur Pink Panthers – Arjun Deshwal – took a substantial lead when he inflicted the first ALL OUT of the match on the defending champions. The skipper for the Jaipur Pink Panthers got Mohit and Satyappa Matti in a single raid, which Reza Mirbagheri then successfully tackled by stopping V. Ajith Kumar. They carried this momentum through to the very end of the first half, with the score reading 19-11.
'Raid Machine' Arjun Deshwal produced a moment of magic at the start of the second half to inflict a second ALL OUT on the Puneri Paltan and complete his Super 10 in the same move. After Abinesh Nadarajan fell out of the end line, Deshwal pressured Gaurav Khatri and Ajith Kumar as he went on to win five points in a single raid.
Another mistake from Abinesh Nadarajan in a Do-Or-Die Raid gifted another point to the Jaipur Pink Panthers despite a successful tackle. At this point, the match was well in favor of the two-time champions, with the Puneri Paltan needing a massive effort to come back from a 16-point deficit with 10 minutes left in the game.
Mohit Goyat was the main aggressor for Puneri Paltan, but he did not receive the support he would have expected from his teammates. Pankaj Mohite also showed glimpses of his ability, but a lack of effort from the defenders worked against the defending champions. Eventually, the Jaipur Pink Panthers went on to secure an impressive victory with a difference of 14 points between the two teams.

नोएडा, 25 नवंबर। रेड मशीन का खिताब पा चुके अर्जुन देसवाल ( 16 अंक) के एक और बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन के दम पर जयपुर पिंक पैंथर्स ने नोएडा इंडोर स्टेडियम में सोमवार को रिवेंज वीक के तहत खेले गए प्रो कबड्डी लीग के 11वें सीजन के 75वें मैच में पुनेरी पल्टन को 37-23 के स्कोर से हराकर लगातार दो मैचों से चली आ रही हार का सिलसिला तोड़ दिया।
जयपुर को 13वें मैच में सातवीं जीत मिली है। अर्जुन के अलावा नीरज नरवाल (5) और डिफेंस से रेजा मीरबघेरी (4) तथा अंकुश राठी (4) ने सराहनीय खेल दिखाया। पल्टन के लिए पंकज मोहिते और मोहित गोयत सात-सात अंक ले सके। पल्टन के रेडरों ने तो अच्छा खेल दिखाया लेकिन डिफेंडरों ने निराश किया। पल्टन को 13 मैचों में चौथी हार मिली।
शुरुआती 10 मिनट में दोनों टीमें 6-6 की बराबरी पर रहीं। पल्टन के लिए पंकज मोहिते औऱ मोहित गोयत ने चमक दिखाई जबकि जयपुर के लिए नीरज नरवाल ने तीन अंक के साथ अपनी टीम को मुकाबले में बनाए रखा। ब्रेक के बाद हालांकि पंकज ने सुरजीत को गच्चा दे पल्टन को 7-6 से आगे कर दिया लेकिन नीरज ने पंकज का शिकार कर हिसाब बराबर किया।
इस बीच अर्जुन ने चार के डिफेंस में नादराजन को आउट कर पल्टन को सुपर टैकल सिचुएशन में ला दिया। इसके बाद मैच की पहली डू ओर डाई रेड की बारी आई, जिसमें अजीत ने दो अंक लेते हुए पल्टन को आगे कर दिया। हालांकि अर्जुन ने फिर स्कोर बराबर कर दिया। पल्टन के लिए अभी भी सुपर टैकल आन था।
पल्टन इस स्थिति का फायदा नहीं उठा सके और 16वें मिनट में आलआउट हो गए। जयपुर को 14-10 की लीड मिल चुकी थी। आलइन के बाद जयपुर ने एक के मुकाबले पांच अंक लेकर फासला 8 का कर लिया। पंकज और डिफेंडर मोहित का शिकार हो चुका था। इस तरह जयपुर ने 19-11 स्कोर के साथ पाला बदला।
