Electric heating a Campervan?

Can you heat a self built campervan with electricity only? Looking at on-grid / hook up / shore power electrical heating system, and not a Offgrid one. I play with a socket mounted Beldray 700W electric heater for only £23. Is it worth it if you want to reduce noise and reduced fuel costs of a Diesel heater on a campsite?

My overall conclusion is yes it does work on a hook up scenario don’t expect it to be fast but it should maintain the temperature within reason in the UK winter conditions
