Camino de Santiago - Camino Portugues

After completing part 1 of our Camino Portugues we are onto our second part, Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Our original plan to to walk the entire Camino Portugues from Lisbon to Santiago, however, after Aurora had a seizure and was rushed to the energency we changed our plans.

Day 1 started at 7am with getting out of Porto by heading north along the Caminho da Costa (original plan was to take the Senda Litoral, but the weather was not good). Our plan was to get to Vila do Conde but an error in booking our accommodations had us walking an extra 3km to Povoa Varzim. We loved our accommodations and location.

Porto to Povoa Varzim - 31.5 km

Total Spent:
Food - 25 Euros
Hotel - 54 Euros
TOTAL: 79 Euros (39.5 euros per person)
