I’ve wanted to do this for ages, and went about cobbling together a voltmeter for my Honda CB500 with an inline switch to get an ‘ignition off’ accurate voltage reading of the battery. You can pretty much do this to any old bike. Thee are other ways to do this of course and I’m not an expert.
