The Sailrite Edge Cordless Hotknife is a tool powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. When operational, it will heat up to cut and seal lengths of synthetic fabric, rope and webbing (i.e. acrylic, nylon, polyester, etc.) that would otherwise unravel when cut with scissors. This portable hotknife relies on a lithium-ion battery pack instead of a standard cord for more mobility.
