Описание к видео Point of Care Ultrasound of the Gallbladder - AMBOSS Video

POCUS of the gallbladder and biliary tract is typically performed to evaluate for biliary tract inflammation or obstruction (e.g., in a patient with RUQ pain associated with jaundice or altered liver chemistries, unexplained ascites, or fever). Ultrasound is a sensitive and specific modality for evaluating cholelithiasis and acute cholecystitis.
