Barakahu Bypass Road Islamabad

Barakahu Bypass is a road project in Islamabad, Pakistan. The purpose of this project was to create an alternative route to Murree, Kashmir AJK. This project was proposed by the PTI government. Special Assistant to Prime Minister announced in Barakahu Jalsa on November 2021. Construction of the revised project later began in March 2022. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Capital Development Authority Mr. Khurram Nawaz Awan announced in a public gathering in Barakahu that the work on Barakahu Bypass has been started in March 2022 which is estimated to be completed in two years. . This year it will finally solve the severe traffic jam on Bhara Kahu. Barakahu Bypass will not only benefit the local people but also provide convenience to the tourists going to Murree and Azad Kashmir.
