Hello and Welcome! Today we're taking a tour through the North Carolina Apple Festival in Downtown Hendersonville! Join me as we walk downtown to enjoy all the sights, sounds, and smells (YUM!) of the Apple Festival!

Downtown Hendersonville North Carolina is transformed as dozens of vendors, booths, and displays line the streets! Keep an eye out, there was a little something for everyone!

Held in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the NC Apple Festival draws an estimated 250,000 people over four days to our quaint little North Carolina Town. Hendersonville produces over 85% of our great states Apples. I'll be downtown this evening recording on the street so say hello if you see me!

"Hendersonville is the official home of the North Carolina Apple Festival, a four-day celebration to recognize the importance of the apple industry to Henderson County and North Carolina. The Apple Festival is always held during the Labor Day weekend (Friday through Monday), which falls right in the peak of apple harvest season. Festival-goers can choose from a variety of events, with the most popular event being a street fair on Main Street.
Some of the other festivities happening during the Apple Festival include apple breakfasts, Gem & Mineral Spectacular, children’s activities, the Western North Carolina Air Museum Open House, a parade, running and biking events, and much more at various locations. North Carolina is the 7th largest apple-producing state in the nation and Henderson County is the largest apple-producing county in North Carolina, producing 85 percent of all the apples grown in the state. The County grows more than 40 varieties of apples including; Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Rome Beauty, Honey Crisp, Granny Smith, Stayman, Fuji and Galas.
