Clopotiva - 1.1: Promising start then a hole in the sky

First flight of the vacation. Blue sky in the area, great clouds in the vicinity. Needed a stronger thermal to break the inversion.

Took the first one up to 1300m, then tested my luck to the left, hoping for a stronger one that already took two pilots to 2500m. Ridge was holding up pretty good, until it didn't.

Hit a strong sink hole of -3/-4 m/s all the way to landing. Almost didn't make it, should have landed on the other side of the village.

If only we could climb again that day, it might have been amazing 😁. Next day looked good also, so we didn't push too hard, thinking that we'd fly better "tomorrow". Never do that 🤣
