Research and innovation bring endless possibilities and hope for children and families. This is Dr. Timothy Crombleholme, Director of the Fetal Care Center at Connecticut Children's. Dr. Crombleholme is a nationally recognized surgeon who treats babies with complex conditions before they’re even born. It seems like science fiction, but this is real life. Currently, he is exploring new ways to use placental gene therapy to treat a variety of diseases such as fetal growth restriction (also called #IUGR) and #preeclampsia.
