I don't own any rights for the song.
"Yes, The River Knows" is a song by The Doos from their 1968 album "Waiting For The Sun".

The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger wrote the majority of this ballad, which he said was one of the favorites among his compositions. In the liner notes to the 1997 Doors retrospective Box Set, Ray Manzarek praises it: "The piano and guitar interplay is absolutely beautiful. I don't think Robby and I ever played so sensitively together. It was the closest we ever came to be being Bill Evans and Jim Hall."

Robby Krieger has recorded this song anew for his 2020 album "The Ritual Begins at Sundown".

Lyrics:

Please, believe me,
The river told me
Very softly
Want you to hold me, ooh.

Free fall flow, river, flow
On and on it goes.
Breathe under water till the end.
Free fall flow, river, flow
On and on it goes.
Breathe under water till the end.
Yes, the river knows.

Please, believe me,
If you don't need me.
I'm going but I need a little time,
I promised I would drown myself
In mystic heated wine.

Please, believe me,
The river told me
Very softly
Want you to hold me, ooh.

I'm going but I need a little time,
I promised I would drown myself
In mystic heated wine.

Free fall flow, river, flow
On and on it goes.
Breath under water till the end.
Free fall flow, river, flow
On and on it goes.
Breath under water till the end.
Yes, the river knows.
