However, critics have questioned the value of the Macan EV, as a petrol version of the Macan is also available for a lower price. The petrol Macan starts at £54,900 and offers similar performance to the Macan EV. Additionally, the Macan EV's range falls short of its quoted figure, with one test drive only achieving 283 miles. Critics have also raised concerns about the environmental impact of the Macan EV, as the electricity used to charge it results in CO2 emissions. Despite these criticisms, the Macan EV has been praised for its responsive handling and driving experience.
